A friend wanted to find out what all this kommunetopp-stuff was about, so she invited me to visit her in Vestfold with the aim of climbing some "peaks". We stopped on the way down at Eidsfoss at a very nice cafe with outdoor garden, which I can strongly recommend. Then we headed towards Skibergfjell. Skibergfjell is signposted from the R35. We turned several times on the forest roads into the start of the trail, but I can't remember exactly how we got there now. We used the GPS in the car. We parked at a well-maintained and attractive cabin and headed up the blue-marked trail to the top. The view from the top was a little disappointing, but it was made up for by the discovery that we were also on the Vestfold's highest point. It took about 45 minutes each way.
