first time in Norefjell (Skrevet av helen 02.06.2007) Tur foretatt: Juni 2007. I have never been in Norefjell before, so was looking forward to this trip. The plan was to do both Høgevard and Gråfjell, but there was so much snow in the mountains towards Gråfjell that I didn't bother.
I parked at Tempelseter (40,-kr to cross Norefjell from Noresund and 50,-kr more to drive up to Tempelseter). From there I headed up the left side of the river and on to the DNT track which went all the way to the top. This is a well-marked and well-used track - no problems finding the way. It look at couple of hours to the top. It's a long slow incline.
Great views from the top with the surrounding peaks marked on a dial. More of a mound than a cairn at the top. Took about an hour and a half down.
